... Yeah, I really dig Rayf - he really smoked on those JLP discs, incldg. 'Mystical Adventures' & 'Fables.' He also toured w/ the 'Stanley Clarke Band/Group' [w/ Scott Henderson on gtr.] in the late 80's & smoked there AW. Have him on vid - the '91 FL Drum Expo [along w/ Casey Scheuerell, Johnathan Mover, Stv Smith, Dave Reinhardt [Jeff Berlin, Temptations, Osmonds, & presently Richard Elliott, formrly of Tower of Power], Roland's Stv Fisher, & Tommy Aldridge] - & he smoked it up there in clinic. He also played very nicely/tastefully/musically [& threw in a little quick glimpse of his 'fire/flair'] on that C Kilborn show w/ Marilyn Scott....

...Thanx 4 the info on his CD, Beat; glad 2 hear he's back, altho 2 bad he's had 2 cancel the Montreal gig...hope it's not related 2 his back injury, or any other misfortune, 4 that matter....

Apparently, Rayford cancelled Montreal due to a schedule conflict. He had another previous commitment with an artist in the US and t'was impossible to fly from Montreal to that city in a timely fashion and being able to play on both gigs... [img]frown.gif[/img]
Next year's Fest hopefully!!!
